1969
Bowring Service Station was established by Shri P. V. Shetty on St. Mark’s Road, Bengaluru, as an IndianOil dealership founded on trust, integrity, and dependable customer service. What began as a single fuel station has grown into one of Bengaluru’s most respected names in fuel retail.
1970–1989
Over the next two decades, Bowring Service Station became known for reliable service, operational discipline, and long-standing customer relationships. As Bengaluru evolved, the station continued to serve generations of motorists while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
1990–2000
The 1990s marked an important phase in Bowring Service Station’s journey. Under the leadership of Shri P. V. Shetty, the business strengthened its operations, expanded its capabilities, and laid the foundation for sustained growth in the years ahead.
2000–2010
The new millennium brought significant investments in infrastructure and customer experience. Facility upgrades, operational improvements, and the introduction of LPG services reflected Bowring Service Station’s commitment to evolving with the changing needs of customers.
2010
Bowring Service Station received the IndianOil Gold Circle Certificate of Excellence for outstanding performance during 2009–10, recognising its consistent commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
2010–2020
Throughout the decade, Bowring Service Station strengthened its position as one of Bengaluru’s trusted IndianOil dealerships through disciplined operations, quality service, and an unwavering focus on customer experience.
2021–2022
The dealership was recognized for achieving the highest sales of IndianOil XP100, reflecting increasing customer preference for premium fuel products and reinforcing Bowring Service Station’s leadership in fuel retail.
2023
Bowring Service Station received multiple IndianOil Certificates of Excellence for outstanding performance across Motor Spirit, XtraGreen, and premium fuel sales under Bengaluru East RSA, reaffirming its commitment to operational excellence.
2024
Six new automated fuel dispensing pumps were commissioned, significantly enhancing service capacity and customer convenience. During the same year, the dealership achieved its highest-ever Motor Spirit sales, setting a new benchmark in performance.
2025
Bowring Service Station underwent a complete transformation with the renovation of its canopy and façade, creating a modern identity while preserving its legacy. The dealership also crossed 500 KL of Motor Spirit upliftment in a single month and a first in its history.
2026
With more than five decades of service behind it, Bowring Service Station continues to invest in modern infrastructure, operational excellence, and customer-centric innovation, carrying forward the vision established by Shri P. V. Shetty.
